We’ve worked with dozens of brands, helping them activate a new product, idea, or performance. Our space accommodates various activities, from concerts to fashion shows. We’ve hosted it all.

Made for Fashion's Finest Hours

Fashion Week in New York runs twice yearly, with the September 2025 shows scheduled for September 11-16, and our brownstone transforms into the beating heart of the fashion world's most memorable celebrations. From emerging designers launching their first collections to established houses marking milestone moments, Maxwell has hosted it all.

We've opened our doors to dozens of brands, helping them activate new collections, celebrate breakthrough moments, and create the kind of intimate experiences that matter most. Our space accommodates the full spectrum of fashion week events — from runway presentations in the Grand Room to designer dinner parties in the Garden Room, from buyer meetings in the Explorers Room to after-party celebrations that stretch until dawn.

The Space That Understands Fashion

Every room at Maxwell was designed with fashion in mind. The Grand Room's soaring ceilings and dramatic lighting create the perfect backdrop for runway shows and major presentations. The Garden Room's natural light and sophisticated atmosphere make it ideal for intimate trunk shows and designer meet-and-greets. Our two professional kitchens become the stage for collaborative dinners where chefs and designers create experiences that feed both body and soul.

While major fashion week events now take place at venues like the Starrett-Lehigh Building in Chelsea, Maxwell offers something distinctly different — the warmth of a home combined with the sophistication of a world-class venue.

Where Fashion Becomes Family

At Maxwell, fashion week isn't just about the shows — it's about the connections that happen when creative minds gather in a space designed for authentic conversation. Picture this: a designer sharing their inspiration over pancakes at our Saturday morning breakfast, a stylist discovering their next collaboration during Friday night aperitivo, or a photographer capturing candid moments in our library's intimate corners.

We've hosted everything from exclusive capsule collection launches to sustainable fashion panel discussions, from emerging designer showcases to industry veterans sharing their wisdom with the next generation. Each event becomes part of Maxwell's growing legacy — a place where fashion's future is written in the conversations that happen long after the last runway show ends.
