Maxwell’s Grand Room is perfect for weddings, fashion week events & any chef’s table demonstrations.
A massive plate rack with Ruffoni copper pots & pans, a leathered marble countertop, JennAir appliances & and hand-painted shaker cabinets with elegantly patinaed brass knobs and sinks make up our Grand Room Chef’s Kitchen.
Custom Adolf Loos-inspired chandeliers, a Gracie hand-painted mural depicting Elsa Maxwell’s life in New York and Paris, and limestone Fireplaces create a sense of old-world grandeur.
Maxwell’s Garden Room is a light, whimsical cross between an English Garden and French Versaille elegance.
Our Garden kitchen, with a kitchen nook upholstered by Pierre Frey, is crowned with four beautiful Vaughan Designs chandeliers and an exquisite Cox London floral chandelier, all on top of a custom Winkelmans tile carpet and a Gracie Chinoiserie frieze.
Maxwell’s patio is a perfect summertime hangout spot. The former loading dock of the Fleming Smith warehouse is now an outdoor oasis with bistro tables, hedges and Beauvamp striped pendants, providing a perfect compliment to our garden room when the weather allows.
Maxwell’s Explorers Room is a nook of our grand room that channels the spirit of adventure and exploration.
Features include a Gracie fresco of Darwin's voyage to the Galapagos, a hot-air balloon-themed bar, and a two-tiered library with an antique rocket chandelier. The library also has custom curtains by Fabricut and Crypton, lighting from Hudson Valley and Visual Comfort, and furniture by Arhaus.
Everyone has a fantasy of their ultimate kitchen, and we have two. Maxwell’s shaker kitchens have big plate racks, combine colors and natural wood seamlessly, and have our favorite classic kitchen feature: Ladders. Outfitted by JennAir appliances, each kitchen has a custom soda machine for members to serve themselves.
Every kitchen cabinet has Armac Martin hinges, knobs, and pulls and is hand painted.
Our Grand Kitchen
Our Grand Kitchen has a leathered marble countertop that you can feel when you sit down at it. It is perfect for chef’s tables, cooking classes, and Maxwell pizza nights.
Our Medium Kitchen
Our medium kitchen includes a breakfast nook clad in Pierre Frey fabric, where members can dine after they finish cooking.
Our investment in our kitchen reflects our core philosophy of “Kitchen Islands, Not Bars” and the realization that at some point at every house part,y you end up crowded into the kitchen, sitting on countertops and exchanging stories.
