Maxwell's bistro-style seating, fresh floral touches, and playful yet refined design make it feel like a hidden European café, right in the heart of Manhattan. Lush greenery from fast growing trees frames the space from all sides, cascading hanging plants create a living canopy overhead, while vibrant orange and red sun umbrellas glow warmly in the sun. Elevated above street level and nestled between Tribeca's most iconic buildings on a quiet stretch just steps from the West Side Highway, this is the only outdoor terrace on the block – a rare, sunlit perch that transforms into something truly magical during golden hour, when the light pours through the leaves and spills into the adjoining Garden Room, making the two spaces feel like one glowing escape.

With room for up to 30 standing guests and 10 seated, it's an intimate yet versatile setting — perfect for spring happy hours, baby showers, brand activations and engagement parties, or as a sun-drenched stoop-sale-style pop-up moment à la Julia Fox, with guests flowing seamlessly inside to the Garden Room for a breath of air, a quiet conversation, or a natural break between moments. Whatever the occasion, the patio sets a scene that's effortlessly elevated.

Every Friday, members enjoy our beloved Maxwell Summer Fridays on the Patio and in the Garden Room. From 5 PM to 8 PM, we host an open bar happy hour. Last summer, Via Carota kept the drinks flowing all season, Brooklyn Coachworks pulled up with a vintage car for the ultimate photo moment, and JA Rule stepped behind the bar himself to mix drinks for guests while promoting his Amber & Opal whiskey. One of the best weekly rituals in New York for those who want to mix business with pleasure (and a little rosé) — and this summer, we're just getting started.
