Maxwell has hosted every type of live music and performance, from jazz trios to string quartets, cover bands to DJs.
We’re not a concert hall, and we don’t aim to be. Instead, we offer a place where an acoustic set can complement a seated dinner, where a DJ can shift the mood of the Grand Room, and where smaller performances become a seamless part of a social evening.
Maxwell is unique in that we're one of the few private event venues in NYC equipped with full AV support, from microphones, stands, mixing boards to multiple DJ turntables and more, all enhanced by our in house creative production -- no more anxious waiting for your rental to arrive for your party, it's all stored downstairs.
