The holidays at Maxwell are a full experience, not just a party. From Christmas parties to New Year’s Eve countdowns, we build gatherings that feel like memories waiting to happen.

When it comes to celebrating the holidays, no one does it quite like Maxwell

From the moment you walk through the door, you're wrapped in the holiday spirit. Every corner of the space is decked out, from stockings hung with care on the grand fireplace to the oversized tree that glows at the heart of the room.

There’s mistletoe above doorways, twinkle lights everywhere you look, and the gingerbread cookie scent drifting from the kitchen, where members come together to bake cookies from scratch.

This past season, we went all in. For Christmas, we even had Santa himself stop by (yes, the real one... as far as we’re concerned). He handed out gifts, posed for photos, and brought serious cheer to our cozy, bustling space.

One of the most breathtaking spaces this season were the Garden Room and the Grand Room. Every inch was layered with thoughtful detail. The glow from the lights reflected off vintage ornaments and gold accents, casting a warm, intimate light across every gathering.

In the Garden Room, the fireplace became the heart of the space. Stockings were hung with care, nestled beneath garlands that trailed down the fireplace mantel. Next to it stood one of many Christmas trees - tall, perfectly trimmed, and glowing with deep red, gold, and green ornaments.

Little snow-covered village houses lined the table, creating tiny, glowing worlds of their own. Some had lights in the windows, others had miniature sleighs parked out front, and together they added a quiet storybook charm to the whole setting. Each space felt rich but never overdone, festive but still intimate. The magic is in the details.

And the best part? It felt like you were walking into someone’s beautifully nostalgic holiday memory. A place where people gathered, and laughed late into the evening, surrounded by the kind of warmth only the holidays (and Maxwell) can create.

Even the Kitchens Got Dressed Up For The Occasion

From the wreath hung above the stove to the garland draped across the cabinets, every detail was considered. Countertops were cleared for cookie-making marathons, and the holiday playlist was always on.

In the Garden Room kitchen, it was all about charm and coziness. Garland was tucked along shelves and draped over cabinets and the table, and everything was softly lit by warm table lamps and our Vaughan Chandeliers. The seating area (our favorite nook in the whole building) layered with cushions felt like it belonged in someone’s home, not a venue. It’s the kind of space that makes you want to lean in, pour a cup of tea, and stay a while.

The Grand Room kitchen brought a different energy. It was elegant but not stiff, with a massive island at the center and a garland-wrapped range hood that immediately caught your eye. The symmetry, the dark marble, the polished copper pots - it all just worked perfectly. People gathered around the island, someone was always making something on the stove, and the overhead wreath fit in in the best way.

Both kitchens were decorated differently, but they carried the same feeling: that this is where people come together. Whether it was baking, talking, or just escaping the cold for a few minutes, the kitchens became a part of the holiday rhythm.

Our New Year’s Eve party was pure magic

The champagne was flowing, laughter echoed off the walls, and that electric energy that only comes from counting down to midnight with people you’ve grown to know over many shared moments was all over the Grand Room.

The lights were dimmed just enough to make the whole room glow, and as midnight approached, there was a quiet buzz.

When the clock struck twelve, the room erupted. Hugs, toasts, cheers, even a few tears.

We rang in the new year in true Maxwell fashion - with a signature friends, music, and celebration that turns every moment into a memory.

But we didn’t stop at Christmas and New Year’s...

Because at Maxwell, the holiday season is in the way we show up, share space, and celebrate with each other.

Thanksgiving at Maxwell was a heartfelt gathering of members and friends

We hosted both traditional Thanksgiving and a cozy Friendsgiving, each filled with warm plates, shared stories, and that undeniable sense of gratitude that defines the season.

Whether you were away from family or just looking to celebrate with your chosen community, Maxwell made sure no one was without a seat at the table.

At Maxwell, Thanksgiving is an invitation to sit down, share stories, and be reminded of the good in each other.

Pepsi Holiday Party At Maxwell Social

One of our favorite moments this past season was when we teamed up with Pepsi to throw one of the most unforgettable parties, as we cozied up with their festive Gingerbread Zero Sugar in hand.

We hosted a full-course holiday dinner — menu curated, candles lit, every seat filled. We raised our glasses (and cans) to good food and even better company. Guests sipped on Pepsi, Pepsi Zero Sugar, and the seasonal favorite Gingerbread Zero Sugar, all perfectly paired with each course. The cozy vibe of our space, decked out with stockings, mistletoe, and a glowing fireplace, made it feel like a holiday movie come to life. It was the kind of night that reminds you why we love this season and why we’ll never say no to a cold Pepsi at the table.
