Maxwell, with its community of tech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and thought leaders, thrives on conversations that challenge assumptions and spark debate. So when the opportunity arose to host a live recording of Scott Galloway’s new podcast Raging Moderates, co-hosted with Jessica Tarlov, we jumped at it.
The evening brought members face-to-face with two sharp and contrasting voices in political commentary. Galloway, professor, entrepreneur, and outspoken cultural critic, discussed the “crisis in masculinity” and why increasing numbers of young men are gravitating toward Donald Trump. The conversation turned toward solutions: what the Democratic Party and Kamala Harris could do differently to better connect with these voters, and how political discourse could be elevated in a time of division.
Tarlov, a Democratic political consultant and Fox News contributor, offered her own perspective, creating a lively back-and-forth that mixed policy insight with unvarnished candor.
It was a night that embodied Maxwell’s mission: to be a home for spirited, nuanced dialogue, even and especially when the topics are complex.
