When Larry Walshe, founder of New York’s own Larry Walshe Studio — a floral design house known for bold, artful arrangements — came to Maxwell to launch his new venture, he had a clear vision: bring together the city’s top creative vendors for one unforgettable evening. The result was a collaborative showcase that blended design, hospitality, and artistry under one roof. Partners included leading names in the event and wedding industry, like Carbon, Pinch Food Design, Make It Happen Mgmt, ALR Music, Bentley Meekar, Bordone, and Party Rental Ltd.
Guests included event planners, designers, venue managers, and tastemakers who moved between rooms sampling inventive hors d’oeuvres, exploring bespoke installations, and networking against the backdrop of Maxwell’s signature architecture. A live tattoo artist set up shop on the Explorer’s Room balcony, becoming an unexpected focal point of the night. The atmosphere was equal parts sophisticated and playful, with every detail reflecting the craft and creativity of the vendors involved.
